Football fills clubs with life. They are the only ones who take risks, who invest: in players, in training centers, in a youth academy. They are renovating their stadiums. . . invest a lot.
They face all the risks of football, but they don`t really have a voice in European club competitions. Fans are fans of clubs, not associations based in Switzerland. If you ask them who they support, they will name you a club or a player.
