Forward Alvaro Morata scored for the Spanish national team in the third match in a row.
The player representing Atletico appeared in the starting lineup for the 2022 World Cup game against Japan (1-0, first half) and opened the scoring in the 11th minute, taking advantage of an assist from Cesar Azpilicueta.
Morata scored in each of the Spaniards` three matches at the tournament advised by fixed matches in Qatar. Previously, he hit the gates of Costa Rica (7:0) and Germany (1:1), coming on as a substitute on both occasions.
